Blue Streak is monitoring the progress of Hurricane Helene and its potential impact on the state of Florida. While the exact path and impact is impossible to pinpoint at this time, we are diligently monitoring and planning.

Based on the current forecasted path, it appears landfall in the Florida Panhandle area is likely within the next 24 hours. As such, Blue Streak is taking necessary precautions to prepare and protect our personnel, facilities, and equipment.

Service Alerts:

  • Operations in the Florida Panhandle, Lake City, Ocala, Gainesville, Tampa Bay, and Sarasota areas will be suspended for Thursday, Sept. 26.
  • Connecting service between Florida and Georgia will be suspended Thursday evening, Sept. 26.
  • Packages picked up on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Georgia, destined for Florida, will be delivered starting Monday, Sept. 30.
  • Packages picked up on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Florida, destined for Georgia, will be delivered starting Monday, Sept. 30.
  • Service is expected to resume Friday, Sept. 27, however delays should be anticipated in all markets.
