Blue Streak is monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Debby and its potential impact on the state of Florida. While the exact path and impact is impossible to pinpoint at this time, we are diligently monitoring and planning.
The storm is expected to develop into a hurricane over the next 24 hours. Based on the current forecasted path, it appears landfall in the Big Bend area is likely. As such, Blue Streak is taking necessary precautions to prepare and protect our personnel, facilities, and equipment. We will be suspending operations in the Florida Panhandle from Lake City, FL to Pensacola, FL for Monday, 8/5/2024. We will continue to monitor the storm closely and will use this electronic newsletter and our website to communicate any further service disruptions due to the storm.
