This month’s topic is a shipping manifest. A shipping manifest is a document that lists the pieces in a shipment. A manifest usually covers an entire load regardless of whether the load is to be delivered to a single destination or many destinations. Manifests usually list the items, piece count, total weight, and the destination name and address for each destination in the load.
Years ago, shipping manifests were paper documents including all the data fields listed above, but today the term manifest typically refers to an electronic document.

FUEL SURCHARGE WILL INCREASE IN MARCH
Because of an increase in fuel charges in the past month nationwide, Blue Streak’s fuel surcharge will increase to 11.5% in March. Our fuel surcharge continues to be among the lowest in the region.
How it’s calculated: If the national average price of regular unleaded fuel* is above $1.79 during the last week of any given month, the surcharge will be in effect on the first day of the following month.
